Yup, looks unnecessary.
artsbuilder needs .la files to load components. While we had previously moved some .la files from kdemultimedia-dev to artsbuilder, we probably should move the rest, just in case... kdemultimedia-dev depends on artsbuilder, so no one should be harmed.
More ripping out of gcc-3.4.
Add control entries for the dbg packages.
DH_COMPAT++; changelog entries will follow shortly.
Bump our libtunepimp2-dev build-deps, to the version still stuck in NEW.
Mega-commit. Bump build-deps and shlibs from 3.5-rc1 to 3.5.0 for the upcoming final release of 3.5.0. And nudge kdelibs' openexr build-dep to sync with branch.

For the next upload, new files have been added to libarts1-akode, replacing old libakode2.
akode gone, new plugin instead. Bumps, etc. kdemultimedia-kio-plugins now uses lame instead of liblame0, when its not screwing the system.
OK, now trunk contains a copy of branches/kde-3.4.0, to be used for KDE 3.5. A bit of a pain for the immediate future (further 3.4.3 changes will need to be checked into both branches/kde-3.4.0 and trunk).

Fix artsbuilder applet loading. Since kdemultimedia-dev depends on artsbuilder, we can safely move the files (with Replaces).
Tighten inter-depends and kdewebdev build-deps again, in case we upload to unstable, and to be very cautious generally.
KDE 3.4.3 is coming. Nothing to see here, really. Just bumps to shlibs, changelog entries, build-deps, etc.

And for kdemultimedia, roll back the build-deps as well.
Now that flac has been rebuilt on all arches for its SONAME changes, we don't need the inflated versioning of the build-dep, so revert it to the gcc4 level.
Tighten flac build-deps for its SONAME changes.
Bump build-deps for C++ packages in kdemultimedia.
kdemultimedia updates for 3.4.2. The usual shlibs/build-deps bumps, etc. One new file for kscd.
kdemultimedia seems to build and work when the build-dep is changed from libxaw7-dev to libxaw8-dev (New X.Org package). Does anyone know why we need this build-dep at all? It seems odd, but I haven't tested a removal yet.
Bump Standards Version to 3.6.2 (no changes required that I can think of).

Improve libkcddb1 package description.
Move theora kfile plugin to the kfil-plugins package. Odd that it wasn't there to begin with. Add the necessary Replaces.
audiocd:/ doesn't use lame, but liblame0.
kaudiocreator uses /usr/bin/flac and /usr/bin/lame, so add the needed Recommends and Suggests.
kmix is an x-audio-mixer.
Lintian overrides and the usual rearragements of package descriptions to quiet lint tools.

Clean up Uploaders - new standard list for group maintained packages, based on current contributors, in alphabetical order by last name.
Add doc-html for kdemultimedia.

Uhm, it's libgstreamer-plugins0.8-dev, not libgstreamer0.8-dev.
Make kdemultimedia-kio-plugins suggest lame (for audiocd:/).
kdemultimedia/debian/control:
- Add the following build-dependencies: libgstreamer0.8-dev, libltdl3-dev,
libtheora-dev. Require libspeex-dev at (>> 1.1.5).
- Add cdbs, autotools-dev, tighten debhelper.
- Bump kdelibs4-dev version in build-dependencies and *-dev packages
dependencies.
