I'm reverting this addition for now, since it makes libarts1-akode uninstallable (since with the Conflicts: akode, it conflicts with libakode2, which Provides: akode, and libarts1-akode depends on libakode2). We'll have to ensure smooth upgrades a slightly different way.

Return value check patches from kde-packager (no embargo, since not exploitable; but still nice to have). kdelibs has similar patches in its branch, so next upload should get them. These may also be checked into the branch, so these patches may be short-lived.

Set trunk externals to point to the trunk copy of cdbs/common-patches.
OK, now trunk contains a copy of branches/kde-3.4.0, to be used for KDE 3.5. A bit of a pain for the immediate future (further 3.4.3 changes will need to be checked into both branches/kde-3.4.0 and trunk).

Fix artsbuilder applet loading. Since kdemultimedia-dev depends on artsbuilder, we can safely move the files (with Replaces).

Remove a 'fix' from the branch that breaks the build. Update the buildprep accordingly.

Now that flac has been rebuilt on all arches for its SONAME changes, we don't need the inflated versioning of the build-dep, so revert it to the gcc4 level.

kdemultimedia seems to build and work when the build-dep is changed from libxaw7-dev to libxaw8-dev (New X.Org package). Does anyone know why we need this build-dep at all? It seems odd, but I haven't tested a removal yet.

Add a patch which move noatun's kconf update binary from /usr/share/ to /usr/lib, in compliance with the FHS. Update the noatun.install and buildprep accordingly.

Move theora kfile plugin to the kfil-plugins package. Odd that it wasn't there to begin with. Add the necessary Replaces.
audiocd:/ doesn't use lame, but liblame0.
kaudiocreator uses /usr/bin/flac and /usr/bin/lame, so add the needed Recommends and Suggests.
Update debian/rules for individual package shlibs. For now, we start with 3.4.1-1, but in future we'll only bump when needed (pending a good, reliable system to determine these things).

Updated debian/rules to accomodate new kde.mk. Note that by default, all libs will be given an shlibs value equal to the upstream version, assuming that PACKAGES_WITH_LIBS is correct and complete. If you need finer control, i.e. branch pulls add new symbols, then uncomment the lines: #shlibs_ver = 4:3.4.0-1 #$(foreach p,$(PACKAGES_WITH_LIBS),$(eval DEB_DH_MAKESHLIBS_ARGS_$(p) := -V'$(p) (>= $(shlibs_ver))')) and specify the new shlibs manually.
Remove lines now in kde.mk from packages' debian/rules.

artsbuilder only has 16x16 icons. also, fix script output.
Big sigh. I can't even code a script. s/png/xpm/ in all menu files modified in the previous commit.
MASS COMMIT, UNSAFE! (svk would have helped here). Anyway: add icon lines to all menu files. This has been done with a script, so will need checking. More commits about this stuff coming.
