Tagging powerpc kernel 2.6.8-1 retroactively.
Modified config files so CPU_FREQ is built only on powerpc.
Mark it for release to unstable and set urgency to high.
Removed marvell-errata and g4-l2-flush patches, as they are part of kernel-source 2.6.8-2 now.
Added g4 l2 flush errata patch. Added marvell gigabit ethernet errata patch.
Added config option that was added in 2.6.8 over -rc4. Preparing the 2.6.8-1 upload.

Set CONFIG_PDC202XX_FORCE to y in order to force detection of XServe G4 IDE. Removed an item from the changelog that didn't correspond to actual changes.
Enabled psaux compatiblity driver, since not having it will break 2.4/2.6 dual kernel installs, as well as current X configuration defaults. Jens : i need to look at the patch from #263057 tomorrow.
Backed out the so-called logic in debian/rules, added minor fixes.

Disabled 3DFX fbdev accel, as this seems broken right now.
Added the pegasos patch again, until kernel-source 2.6.7-4 is uploaded. Added logic to build against a given kernel-source version. Built-in voodoo framebuffer as many users requested it. Added g4-errata patch to fix stability issues with 7447A rev 1.1 and some other G4s.
Changed debian/rules to allow for partial builds all the way through. For example, 'fakeroot debian/rules binary-flavour-powerpc-smp' will configure, build, install, and package the powerpc-smp flavour.
Disabled a number of useless .config options.
Built Matrox framebuffer driver into the kernel again.
Moved pegasos patch from the powerpc patch package to the common kernel-sources.
Fixed type in pegasos patch.
Moved the 2.4 and 2.6 kernels one level lower.
Moved 2.6 kernels from old to new layout.
Fixed the breakage in the install target.
Editorial changes for build and upload of 2.6.7-3
Changed the priority to high, to make sure 2.6.7-3 get into sarge as quick as possible.
Confirmed the atkbd driver works just fine on the PowerMac G5 and backed out the change again.
Hacked around the atkbd driver problem crashing the PowerMac G5
Fixed missing CONFIG_ prefix for SERIAL_PMACZILOG_CONSOLE
Added config options for the new Marvell ethernet driver.
Added PReP mkvmlinuz support.
Yet another workaround for non-powerpc autobuilders.
Enabled the serial console driver for PowerMacs as well. Set Matrox and Voodoo graphics cards to be built as modules.
Upgraded the pegasos patch to the one which is going to go upstream. Added serial console support to powerpc config.
Really checked in the uploaded version 2.6.7-2 this time. Much of svn is still a mistery to me.
