moved the why-all-the-fuss-about-this-one-character below the other question-type sections, slight improvement to the changelog
moved the stuff about the document itself into its own chapter at the end; added debian-doc as the author e-mail, because there has to be a contact e-mail if we want people to comment on it (they will be commenting on it RSN, we are going to post a news item about it); upped the version and added myself to the changelog
proofreading; show sect1s in the toc because they're interesting (people will scan for things like gnome or kde in the table of contents); fix another bunch of wrongly lower-prioritized sections in the application section
fixed more spelling errors, both in English and in URLs; used <copyrightsummary> and ©
point exactly to the GFDL, and with a <url> link
removed redundant section (the chapter includes that already)
Updated information: - more readable separation of configuration issues - latin9 and latin10 input encodings for LaTeX (file wishlist) - updated application issues, most notably information regarding KDE support - fixed some typos
Fixed typos and introduce some more information thanks to contributed patches from the spanish translation team..
