Installation-guide cleanup
* Various small removals / updates / amendments in chapter 3,
most of them concerning outdated information.
* Extended the "Devices Requiring Firmware" section.
* Rewrote large parts of the "Avoid Proprietary or Closed Hardware"
section.
* Rewrote the "Hardware Compatibility" section.
* Amended the "Network Settings" section.
* Rewrote the "Pre-Partitioning for Multi-Boot Systems" section
to bring it up to date with the current d-i features and make it
easier to read for beginners.
* Rewrote the "Pre-Installation Hardware and Operating System Setup"
section to bring it up to date for modern hardware.
Mention Windows 2003, Vista, and 7.
Change many occurences of 'Debian' into &debian;. This run is in the english version, other languages will follow.
Rename debian entity to debian-gnu.
Fix "preparing" part for non-Linux ports.

Rename some i386 files/directories to x86 because of AMD64 inclusion
Initial commit preparing to add variant for AMD64. This commit basically creates the AMD64 variant as a copy of the i386 manual. Further commits will be needed to differentiate the AMD64 variant from i386 where needed. Commit includes changes for all translations.
move manual to top-level directory, split out of debian-installer package
- Cleanup use of quotes and dashes; second part of patch originally submitted by Branden Robinson (#279927). - Fix some footnotes that will hopefully make Phillipe Batailler happier. - SMP support kernel configuration is not in the same section for all arches so should be variable. - hppa (optional) and s/390 (standard) also support SMP - Some minor corrections.

Some technical changes for the manual: - moved contributors.xml from appendix to administrivia for all languages - changed Debian GNU/Linux to &debian; in en - changed '800' to &num-of-debian-developers; in en/welcome/what-is-debian.xml
